 2. seriously or obsessively concerned; fanatical.

stim - u - la - tor -noun

1. one that stimulates; an instrument used to provide stimulus

A Hyper is an instrument of motor racing simulation with a difference, it VIBRATES!

The two shakers on the chassis add the sound and feeling of the high performance race cars that you're in control of.  The realistic effects will give you thrills similar to competitive motor sport and the stimulator will give you a sense of immersion second to none... you will leave 'hyped up' and looking forward to your next exciting visit.

Hyper Stimulator have been making racing simulators for 20 years, the hardware is unique and second to none - competitors use the word 'impossible' when referring to the technology we use to control the virtual race cars - we call it Hyper Stimulator.

You have a torsion steering wheel, adjustable positions to ensure a comfortable control angle. Stainless steel brake and accelerator pedals with different  tension so you really feel like you're 'hard on the brakes' as you slow for a hairpin from 270km/h.

Your seating position is that of a Formula One cockpit. You need to slide into it carefully and you will truly feel like F1 drivers do when the climb into their machines.

Once you're in and your pedals and steering have been adjusted to your preference you will notice the buttons on your F1 style wheel. First are the 9 programmable buttons to help you operate your car - pit speed limiter, tyre condition, fuel gauge, lap times, headlights... literally dozens of functions are available to you - of course that's only if the car you're driving has the function - of course your headlights won't work on one of the several open-wheeler cars we have.

Behind the wheel handles are the paddle shifters - again, only used for vehicles with that function. To your right, beside your knee, is your sequential shifter. This is a strong, alloy, torsion sprung shifter which you'll be using hundreds of times in a race - you'll feel the clunk as you accelerate through the gears to your top speed then drop it down a couple for the corner.

That's just the first of your senses stimulated...

Visual: A high resolution display is sitting right on top of the steering wheel, it acts as your windscreen and gives you an ideal drivers point of view from in the car. We have extreme graphics cards in the PC's which operate the software, the frame rates are very fast.

Audio: not only will the two shakers be reverberating your low frequency sound but you will have your own head phones - this will both block out external distractions as well as amplify your in-car experience because all you would be focusing on is your engine rpm, tyre squeal (and panels hitting walls?) and your opponents engine roaring in your left ear as you out brake them into that sharp right you have got mastered.

You'll climb slowly out of your hyper at the end of your race, normally pretty sweaty - both from the intense concentration and the heat in the race centre. A few people ask about the temperature actually, "could you get it air conditioned for us?", Jonny Reid said he diddn't want it air conditioned to "keep it real" - remember, it gets up to 60ºc in a race car and this IS a simulation.

So what are you waiting for? Come on in and experience the closest thing we know to real motor racing.
